Liebe treue Gäste aus Nah und Fern

Leider zwingen uns die aktuellen Umstände zu einer Verschiebung unserer alljährlichen Bergparty. Wir sind etliche Szenarien durchgegangen und haben uns die Entscheidung alles andere als leicht gemacht. Die gegebenen Vorschriften sind auf dem Achenberg kaum umzusetzen und daher werden wir das 20-Jahr-Jubiläum im nächsten Jahr durchführen und vom 13.-15.8.2021 auf dem Achenberg wieder eine tolle Party starten.

Unfortunately, the current circumstances force us to postpone our annual Bergparty. We went through a number of scenarios and made the decision far from easy. The given regulations can hardly be observed on the Achenberg and therefore we will celebrate the 20th anniversary next year and start another great party on the Achenberg from 13-15 August 2021.

Our FH-DCE Super Rally® 2020 organizer has sad and important news. Please read it carefully and share this information to all your members.

Please, notice that this decision has been prepared in close cooperation and full mutual understanding with FH-DCE Super Rally® 2020 organizer, FH-DCE Executive committee and H-DC Brno, the FH-DCE Super Rally® 2022 authorized organizer.

Unfortunately, we need to inform you that we will not conduct the FH-DCE Super Rally® 2020.

Several signs of social spread of Covid-19 are happening in the world right now and several countries have introduced a number of restrictions to prevent the risk of contagion for human beings. To put your and others‘ health and well-being first, we cancel our upcoming FH-DCE Super Rally®.

We do not want to contribute to increased spread of infection.

This is extremely sad but we hope for your understanding of this decision.

We will instead conduct the FH-DCE Super Rally® June 1-5, 2022 after approval at the upcoming FH-DCE presidential meeting in October. The reason we are not applying for 2021 is because our brother-club in FH-DCE, Harley-Davidson Club Hellas, has come too far with its preparations.

Of course, those who have booked cottages will have these until 2022.

Again, we ask you to understand this tough decision. Now we set our sights on 2022 and will work hard to conduct the FH-DCE Super Rally® 2022 at Lundegårds Camping.

But!

If corona epidemic has subsided, Lundegårds Camping and Powerevent still want to hold a party for those who are looking forward to an Öland holiday. We will hold a mini rally in all simplicity with camping, some music & dance, good food & drink and Öland’s nice sunset and perfect HD excursions.

Time: the same 27-31 May 2020

Price: 300 sek including camping & entertainment

Those of you who have already booked cottages can use them this weekend and have priority on a new booking in 2022. There are also a number of cottages to book that weekend.

A final decision will be made on 1 th of May whether we are able to implement or not.

50 Jahre Easy Rider

Film findet nicht bei allen Harley-Fans Lob

Ein geglückter Drogendeal, weite Strecken auf Motorrädern und Freisinn à la 60er Jahre: «Easy Rider» ein Filmklassiker. Der leidenschaftliche Harley-Fahrer Eric van der Ploeg sagt im Radio-Zürisee-Interview: «Der Film ist sehr alt.».

Heute vor 50 Jahren wurde der US-amerikanische Film zum ersten Mal in den deutschen Kinos gezeigt. Die beiden Hauptdarsteller, Wyatt (Peter Fonda) und Billy (Dennis Hopper), sind im Streifen leicht bekleidet und meist ohne Helm auf ihren Harleys zu sehen. Eine Fahrtweise, die heute undenkbar ist.

Den Harley-Fahrern aus Leidenschaft ist dieser Wandel aber egal, was alle nach wie vor verbindet, ist der Genuss am Fahren und die Freiheitsgefühle auf den langen Strecken. Zu den Harley-Fans gehört natürlich auch der Präsident des Harley-Indian-Club Schweiz, Eric van der Ploeg. Die Schweizer Harley-Community ist im Verhältnis zu der der USA wohl eher klein, sie schliesst aber Mitglieder aus allen Kreisen mit ein. Auch van der Ploeg erinnert sich an das Kinoerlebnis von damals. Die Geschichte komme dem Leben eines Harley-Fahrers nahe, in Sachen Drogen und Konflikte könne der Club-Präsident mit den Protagonisten jedoch nicht mithalten.
